Adjustable Microtonal Guitar as a Bridge between Maqam and Flamenco

This artistic research explores how Ottoman–Anatolian maqam intonation and seyir practices can be integrated into contemporary guitar performance through an adjustable microtonal guitar. Flamenco functions as an embodied performative reference rather than the core research focus. New works are understood not as predefined goals, but as organic outcomes of sustained artistic inquiry.
